The blue whale is the largest living mammal on our planet.

In the last century their numbers dropped more than 95%. besides the dangerous implications to this magnificent beast of such a small population, global warming and the traffic of large ships are now also great threats to its survival.

In october 2012, fifty-nine women gathered in the calm waters of the southern gulf of california and, holding themselves together, they created the silhouette of a female blue whale in the water, almost 100 feet long. Together, the women spoke through their naked bodies on behalf of these giants.
